1) In the never-ending debate of hardback vs paperback, I stand in the middle. I love the look of hardback books, but prefer the feel of paperback books (and prefer reading from paperbacks).
2) My favorite book overall is Harry Potter, but my favorite book in the moment constantly changes (right now it's A Court of Mist and Fury by Queen Sarah J. Maas).
3) I love reorganizing my bookshelves. Even though it can be a huge job at times, it's totally worth it in the end, because it usually looks better than it did before.
4) My reading speed is typically between 85 and 90 pages in a solid hour worth of reading.
5) My main genre that I read is fantasy, but I also like sci-fi and historical fiction (and sometimes contemporary).
6) Though I love reading, I never really can picture myself as a writer, but maybe would consider being an editor/publisher.
7) I can almost never find a comfortable position to read in. Some days are worse than others, to the point where I will have to change positions every few pages.
8) I get most of my books online from places like Amazon and Barnes & Noble online, but I prefer going to bookstores to get books.
9) I like to snack when I read, but my one of my biggest pet peeves is getting crumbs in the spine of my books.
10) During the school year, I get the majority of my reading done before bed, but now that summer is here I read whenever I can.
11) I was one of those people who dog-eared my pages until I got up to about 6th grade and realized what an abomination it is.
12) I have used a multitude of things in the ways of bookmarks and never actually use a genuine bookmark. I prefer using folded sticky notes (so that the sticky side doesn't ruin my book), but I've also used things along the lines of toilet paper, homework, receipts, and other books when I can't find something to mark my page.
13) I almost always have a book on me, be it the one I'm in the middle of reading or the first one I spotted on my way out the door.
14) I am completely guilty of judging books by their covers.
15) I tend to not listen to audiobooks because most of the time I end up spacing out and missing half the book.
16) One of my favorite things to do is update my status on Goodreads.
17) I suffer from the curse of "too many books to read, too little space in my shelves."
18) I honestly hate lending out books to people because I never know what will happen when that book is under their care. I tend to like to keep my books in good shape, so when people borrow them it's a constant fear that they will be ruined.
19) On that note, I only lend out books to people if I know where they live, if I know their book-keeping tendencies, and if I'm allowed to bug them about the whereabouts of the book.
20) To me, the one way to ruin a really good book is by changing the cover to that of the movie or TV show adaptation. I have a personal vendetta against those covers.
21) Some day in the future I want to open a 24-hour bookstore where people can come in the middle of the night and read or find the sequel that they really need because the first book ended in a cliffhanger.
22) If I'm into a book, theres almost nothing that can pull my attention away from it, be it food or someone trying to talk to me.
23) I am a self-proclaimed book hoarder in the sense that I really don't like getting books from the library because I like owning them and being able to see them on my shelf (not to mention re-reading).
24) I always take the jacket off of hardcover books when I read them, because if I leave it on it annoys me and I really don't want to run the risk of messing it up.
25) When I don't feel like reading a novel, I like finding really good stories on Wattpad and reading those instead. I love the ones that get into the 30s chapter-wise, because even though they don't technically count as books, they still feel like they are.
