Synosis: (from amazon.com)

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

My Review:

Needless to say, I thought this play was outstanding. The book was written as a script which made it a really quick read (much to my disappointment) but also means that it got to the intensity and action really early on in the story, which I appreciated, especially because the majority of people who are reading this have already been acquainted with the wizarding world. In order to really love this book, you have to go into it with the mentality that it is really written as fan fiction, rather than an actual full length novel, but other than that it is still a highly enjoyable script. Honestly this story brought me completely back to my childhood and it was so nice to visit with the Golden Trio again, as well as to see their children and how their lives play out. I think that this was a great work and, though not super detailed or plausible at times, it still was another glimpse into the Potter world which makes it amazing no matter what.

Final Grade: A++ (I mean honestly, how could I not give it that)
